On April 22, 2024, Gruber Logistics inaugurated a new logistics hub at the Interporto Quadrante Europa in Verona, equipped with seventy loading bays. This expansion enhances Gruber Logistics' service offerings and marks a significant investment of over two million euros. By the end of 2024, the facility is expected to employ one hundred people.
"Verona has always been a crucial hub for our operations, and this new opening represents a major step in our expansion strategy," explained Christian Gruber, President of Gruber Logistics. "This hub not only strengthens our position in Europe but also enhances our ability to offer more efficient intermodal transport and international and national distribution solutions."
The company emphasizes that the Verona platform will become a key point for its logistics operations, offering integrated solutions that include logistics, distribution, and complete transport services. Additionally, the interport company and Gruber Logistics are collaborating on innovation and sustainability projects. These include digitalization initiatives such as digital cooperation to promote intermodality and the use of artificial intelligence to optimize logistic flows.
