On July 3, 2024, Ceva Logistics, under the ownership of Cma Cgm, announced the commencement of the integration of Bolloré Logistics. Bolloré Logistics was acquired by Cma Cgm in February 2024 and will be merged into Ceva Logistics by the end of the year. The combined entity will encompass all logistics operations of the two companies, including air, sea, land, and rail transport, contract logistics, finished vehicle logistics, project logistics, and customs solutions.
This integration aligns with Cma Cgm's strategy to expand its logistics and shipping capabilities and geographical reach through acquisitions. In addition to Bolloré Logistics, the French group has integrated Ingram Micro's Cls division into Ceva Logistics over the past two years to enhance e-commerce services and acquired Gefco to bolster automotive logistics. Other acquisitions have strengthened Ceva Logistics' presence in the transport of perishable goods in Latin America (Cargex) and in last-mile small parcel delivery in France (Colis Privé).
