Kryalos leases 9,000 sqm to InPost Italy
JLL has assisted Kryalos SGR in leasing a 9,000 sqm logistics property in Pieve Emanuele (Milan) to InPost Italy, a company specializing in Out of Home deliveries. The facility, which underwent a full-scale renovation, has seen improvements in its ESG standards and technical features, including offices, installations, and yards. The deal, managed by the Logistics Agency team at JLL Italia, underscores the growing demand for efficient logistics spaces in the Milan area.
Global container fleet reaches 30 million TEUs
According to a report by shipping brokerage firm Clarksons, the global container ship fleet reached 30 million TEUs in September 2023, thanks to a boom in new constructions during the pandemic peak. Trevor Crowe, Director of Clarkson Research, highlighted that fleet growth has accelerated in recent years: reaching 1 million TEUs in 1985, 10 million in 2007, and 20 million in 2016. The latest milestone was achieved in just eight years.
Aurora acquires German MFI
NB Aurora has invested an additional €15 million in PHSE, a leader in temperature-controlled transport of pharmaceutical products, which has acquired German firm MFI - Moving Forward International. MFI specializes in pharmaceutical shipments, with a focus on radiopharmaceuticals, the new frontier in cancer treatments. This acquisition, the sixth for PHSE since 2020, aims to strengthen the group's growth and internationalization, with revenues exceeding €86 million in 2023.
GS&P acquires Paack Logistics Italy
Law firm Nunziante Magrone assisted Italian holding company GS&P in acquiring Paack Logistics Italy, a company active in smart logistics. The operation, aimed at consolidating GS&P’s position in the Italian market, was led by founding partner Gianmarco Mileni. Paack Italia, a subsidiary of Spain’s Paack SPV Investments S.L., is noted for its innovative IT platform. The acquisition seeks to position Paack Italia as a key player in the sector.
