In an increasingly globalized market where managing international transport has become complex due to factors like geopolitical conflicts and protectionist measures, reducing delays and facilitating shipments is crucial for companies in Friuli. Within this landscape, Ceccarelli Group has decided to expand its offerings by acquiring Gipieffe Spedizioni, a long-standing company specializing in customs procedures. Thanks to this acquisition, Ceccarelli Group will become the only company in Friuli Venezia Giulia capable of providing an integrated service covering logistics, transport, supply chain management, and all customs operations—services that have traditionally been offered by large multinationals. "In our constant effort to extend the services available to our clients, we are now adding everything related to customs operations," says Gabriel Fanelli, CEO of Ceccarelli Group.
With the acquisition of Gipieffe Spedizioni, Ceccarelli Group will open a new office within the Udine Mercati area, the customs zone, which will provide specialized consulting and complete transport management services for requesting companies. This expansion represents a significant step forward for the Friuli-based company, which aims to continuously improve its services, respond innovatively to client needs, and strengthen its position in both regional and national markets. "Many companies, probably due to a lack of information, overlook certain aspects that, if not properly managed, can lead to legal consequences," adds Fanelli. "One example is dual-use goods, which are products that can be used for both civilian and military purposes, such as software, technologies, or projects. Properly handling customs procedures for these goods is crucial to avoid serious legal repercussions."
