Announced at the end of February 2024, Codognotto's Dubai branch is set to act as a central hub for the Middle East region. The decision to establish a direct presence in the area comes in response to increasing demand for transportation services and the economic growth in Saudi Arabia. The new office will enable Codognotto to offer a comprehensive suite of services, including air and sea transport solutions, as well as national and international transport activities ranging from door-to-door services to pickup and delivery to end customers. The branch will also provide customs clearance activities for imports and exports, alongside consulting services on customs and tax procedures.
"Dubai has managed to regain the dynamism it had at the beginning of its incredible expansion, becoming once again the central point of the Middle East," explains Fulvio Villa, Middle East Business Development Director at Codognotto. "We will be part of the new Imec route - an acronym for India Middle East European Union Corridor - officially announced during the 2023 G20 summit in New Delhi by the governments of India, the United States, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, France, Germany, Italy. The European Union sees Dubai at the center of this route."
