On 16 December 2024, Fassi Gru revealed the F905R-HXP Techno articulated crane, incorporating innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, safety, and reliability through advanced technologies such as X-Design, the Fsc Techno stability system, and FX990 electronic management. Compared to the previous generation, this model boasts a 58% increase in vertical load capacity. The use of ultra-high-strength steel and the new decagonal section applied to the telescopic arms and secondary arm ensure superior rigidity and operational stability.
Another innovative feature of the F905R-HXP Techno is the L224 hydraulic extension, enabling horizontal reach up to 30 metres while maintaining high load capacities. This achievement is made possible by an integrated electronic management system and structural solutions that enhance the crane's versatility in complex operational environments.
At the heart of the new crane lies the Fsc Techno control system. This advanced platform allows operators to dynamically configure working areas, adapting to specific operational requirements. Thanks to sophisticated firmware, the system ensures proportional control based on stabiliser extension and inclinometer activation, increasing precision and safety during operations.
The FX990 electronic limiter marks a significant advancement over its predecessor, the FX900. Integrated with the new FX991 touchscreen display, the system offers an intuitive interface for real-time performance monitoring. This technological approach not only enhances operational efficiency but also mitigates lifting risks, ensuring total control over crane operations.
The innovative X-Design applied to the telescopic arms and secondary arm is one of the standout features of the F905R-HXP Techno. The decagonal section, lighter and stronger than the traditional hexagonal configuration, reduces the crane’s overall weight while improving manoeuvrability. This solution enables the handling of heavier loads, even in combination with jib extensions, and guarantees superior structural rigidity.
The crane's advanced configuration also includes a permanent pulley system, which simplifies and speeds up setup operations, allowing a quick transition from transport to working mode. This feature, already tested on previous models such as the F1250R, has been further refined to optimise speed and operational efficiency.
Fassi’s new crane is further distinguished by a completely overhauled electronic system. The new Fassilim system, integrated with IoC (Internet of Cranes), offers advanced operational control via remote control and interactive displays. This solution enables operators to monitor and manage every aspect of the crane with unprecedented precision, ensuring maximum real-time performance.
