At the IAA 2024 in Hannover, Scania introduced not only technical innovations for industrial vehicles but also a revamped configuration of its services: "Services 360," a modular portfolio that simplifies the purchase of tailored solutions for international clients. This product consists of predefined, customizable elements, applicable across all European markets. This allows customers to access the same services, regardless of the country in which they operate. Among the services offered is flexible maintenance, which is based on the actual condition of the vehicles, ensuring greater operational efficiency and reducing workshop visits.
Another innovative service introduced is Scania ProCare, which involves the preventive replacement of critical components and continuous monitoring of the vehicles. This solution helps avoid unexpected breakdowns, increasing vehicle uptime. Additionally, digital services like Fleet Positioning and Vehicle Performance assist fleet managers in improving vehicle performance by providing real-time data on their condition and location.
One of Scania's most ambitious promises with the launch of Services 360 is the new Max24 service. This guarantees that in case of a breakdown, the vehicle will be repaired and back on the road within 24 hours, no matter where it is in Europe. Max24 represents a concrete commitment to reducing vehicle downtime, one of the primary concerns for fleet managers.
Mikael Blom, Scania’s Product Manager, commented on the significance of this initiative during a period of strong growth for the company’s customers: “This launch comes at a time when we are seeing our customers grow in size and operate with us across multiple countries. With Services 360, Scania becomes the first manufacturer able to offer fleet owners a simple way to access and purchase exactly the same solutions throughout Europe.”
Blom also emphasized how the transport sector, traditionally fragmented by national services, is now evolving towards greater integration: “From now on, European fleet owners can trust that, wherever they are on the continent, they will receive full support and 360-degree assistance.”
