On February 7, 2024, the Fagioli Group announced a significant change in leadership: Fernando Bertoni has been appointed as the new CEO with immediate effect. In a statement, the company explained that the new executive will "lead Fagioli with the goal of accelerating its growth across various business areas, including energy generation, transport, and special lifting, leveraging the Group's strong market positioning, recognized technical expertise, and global presence."
Bertoni brings with him a thirty-year career of international experience in the energy and engineering sectors. He joins Fagioli after serving as President and CEO of Util Group, a global provider of automotive solutions and other industrial segments. Previously, he held the same positions at Corob Group, which manufactures tintometric systems, and at General Electric Group in Italy, Europe, and Brazil, where he developed diversified skills in positions of increasing responsibility, eventually taking on the role of CEO of GE Environmental Control Solutions.
