On 18 February 2025, Logista announced an order for 110 Volvo FH Aero trucks to upgrade and expand its fleet of industrial vehicles. In a statement, the company explained that these vehicles would enhance "the ability to meet market demands, particularly in the management of long-distance and full-load transport." Federico Rella, vice president and corporate affairs director of Logista Italia, stated that "with the integration of these trucks into our fleet, we take another significant step towards achieving the goal of all companies within Logista to remain at the forefront of technological innovation in a sustainable and efficient manner."
In 2025, Logista marks twenty years of operation in Italy, having begun its activities in 2005 with the acquisition of Etinera, which was the logistics division of Ente Tabacchi Italiani. Today, it supplies more than 60,000 tobacco retail outlets weekly across all Italian municipalities, handling four million orders per year. In 2024, Logista reported a turnover of 4.4 billion euros. With the establishment of Logista Pharma Italia in 2023, the company has also entered the healthcare sector.
