In July 2024, Medlog, an intermodal transport company controlled by the MSC Group, commenced construction on a new multimodal inland terminal on the outskirts of Paris. The facility, designated as Inland Terminal Paris-Bruyères, will cater to both rail and inland waterway transport, designed to streamline shipments from the Paris region that currently rely predominantly on road transportation.
Once operational, the terminal will primarily support last-mile deliveries via trucks. Additionally, it will provide container maintenance and repair services and handle liquid products and project cargo. The Inland Terminal Paris-Bruyères is part of the broader Tn MSC Port 2000 program, which focuses on the Port of Le Havre with the ambitious target of reaching one million TEUs by 2027. Situated on a 112,000-square-meter site in Bruyères-sur-Oise, the terminal has been granted a 20-year concession through a competitive bidding process.
