Petronas Lubricants International and Iveco presented the new Urania Next 0W-16 motor oil at IAA 2024 in Hannover, describing it as the first SAE 0W-16 oil specifically designed for heavy-duty industrial vehicles, offering the lowest viscosity available for such vehicles.
Designed for the Iveco S-Way, T-Way, and X-Way models equipped with the XCursor 13 engine, Urania Next 0W-16 ensures fuel efficiency thanks to its low-viscosity formulation. This feature reduces internal engine friction, leading to lower fuel consumption and reduced CO2 emissions. Additionally, its Ultra Low Ash technology extends oil change intervals up to 150,000 kilometers, even when using bio-component fuels, thereby cutting maintenance costs and downtime.
Urania Next 0W-16’s tailored formulation combines Petronas’ Etro+ base oil with high-performance additive technology, offering superior engine protection and extending engine life. The product also complies with the upcoming Euro 7 regulations and is compatible with after-treatment systems, ensuring adherence to the latest environmental standards.
