In 2025, the public holidays of Easter, Liberation Day and Labour Day fall within a short period of just fourteen days, from 18 April to 1 May. As a result, Italy will see a concentration of eight days during which industrial vehicles over 7.5 tonnes will be prohibited from circulating, apart from the usual exemptions. The bans will apply at different times depending on the day.
The Easter period will be the most affected, with five consecutive days when trucks will not be allowed to travel: Friday 18 April (from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.), Saturday 19 April (from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.), Sunday 20 April (from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.), Monday 21 April (from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.) and Tuesday 22 April (from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.).
Industrial vehicle traffic will be permitted over the following two days, but Friday 25 April will see a ban from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. There will be no restrictions on Saturday 26 April, while the regular Sunday ban will be in effect on 27 April from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. The final three days of April will allow unrestricted movement, but on Thursday 1 May the ban will again apply from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. The next scheduled ban will be the regular Sunday restriction on 4 May, also from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
