On 13 February 2025, Ubv Group confirmed the acquisition of International Services and Logistics Nardi (Isl Nardi), which was executed via its logistics subsidiary Ubv Ocean & Air. The financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed. Founded in 1949 and headquartered in Milan, Isl Nardi is a specialised integrated logistics operator with an international presence, including subsidiaries in China and Turkey. The company offers a wide portfolio of services encompassing sea, air, road, and rail freight, as well as advanced 4PL logistics solutions. In 2024, Isl Nardi recorded a consolidated turnover of approximately 60 million euros.
This acquisition creates a company with a combined turnover of 260 million euros in international transport and logistics. Ubv Group stated in a press release that, thanks to Isl Nardi’s expertise and infrastructure, the group will be able to strengthen its presence in strategic markets such as Asia and Europe, enhancing the efficiency of its shipments and increasing its competitiveness in multimodal transport.
Pietro Porro, Chairman of Ubv’s Board of Directors, highlighted the significance of the operation: "With this acquisition, the fifteenth in the last fifteen years, Ubv Ocean & Air achieves its goal of reinforcing its international presence, particularly in the Chinese market. The real added value of this transaction lies in the professionalism of Isl Nardi’s human resources, who will contribute to the group's growth. We are confident that together we will reach new milestones, expanding our strategies not only in Europe but also on a global scale."
The deal was supported by a team of specialised consultants. Isl Nardi’s shareholders were advised by Broletto Corporate Advisory on financial matters, Wst Law & Tax Firm for tax-related issues, and the law firm Gatti Pavesi Bianchi and Ludovici. Ubv, on the other hand, engaged Ey for financial and tax due diligence and sought legal counsel from Betti Formigaro Pericu. Ubv Group is an Italian company specialising in national and international transport as well as integrated logistics services. Headquartered in Pioltello, in the province of Milan, the group operates sixteen branches across northern and central Italy, employs over 210 staff, and manages 65,000 square metres of warehouse space.
