At the IAA in Hannover this September 2024, Volvo Trucks will reveal a comprehensive range of industrial vehicles powered by battery-electric systems, fuel cells, and combustion engines running on renewable fuels. The exhibition will feature the newly launched FH Aero range, available in electric and biofuel variants, and the new Volvo VNL, developed for the US market on an entirely new platform incorporating cutting-edge autonomous technologies.
The Volvo FH16 Aero will debut the new 17-liter D17 engine, certified for HVO and B100 biodiesel. Additionally, the FM Low Entry model, the first Volvo truck developed exclusively with a battery-electric powertrain, will be on display. This model offers exceptional driver visibility, enhancing safety in urban environments.
Volvo Trucks will also unveil its new e-axle technology at IAA 2024, designed for the next generation of battery-electric and fuel cell trucks, providing greater electric range and improved driving performance. Many of the Volvo models at the German show will feature the Camera Monitor System (CMS), which replaces mirrors with cameras.
