Yale Lift Truck Technologies recently unveiled its latest series of order picker pallet trucks at LogiMat 2024. The machines, known as the MO20-30X range, are versatile, suited for both intra-logistics and industrial vehicle use, especially within the e-commerce and retail distribution sectors. Capable of lifting loads between two and three tons, these pallet trucks merge the convenience of a low-level picker with the versatility required for truck loading and unloading operations. Their design ensures optimal operator positioning and increased ground clearance, making the trucks also suitable for ramp usage.
Operational flexibility is further enhanced by the variety of fork lengths and heights available, alongside multiple driving modes. Particularly, Yale's designers have focused on ergonomics. Operators enjoy a comfortable driving position on a spacious platform, designed to offer an optimal view of the work environment. The adjustable innovative scooter control allows for easy height customization according to individual preferences, while the intuitive design of the tiller head ensures an improved user experience.
Additional features include a new operator compartment design, with the battery and motor compartment located behind the operator (who drives with the forks trailing). To further enhance the operator experience, an array of integrated lights, ergonomic handles with auxiliary lift/lower buttons for easier pallet handling during truck loading, and a model suitable for use in cold stores are available. The new order picker can also be ordered with Yale Smart Lift function, allowing operators to lift loads and start moving the pallet before the forks reach their maximum height.
